We mine Almandine Garnets on Mica Schist. They are very fine Garnet Specimens in the matrix and we also have individual Garnet Crystals. Almandine Garnets appearance are dodecahedral or trapezohedral beautifully formed crystals. Our garnets are very dark red. Garnets are found at many locations throughout the world but our garnet specimens come from our own Alaskan Mines on Mitkof Island in Southeast Alaska. We have a large inventory of garnets in matrix by the flat, larger garnet specimens and individual garnet crystals.
